What's a Panowie? How do I grape my squildo? Why have people told me to stop touching ham? B3ta is as guilty as any other social group of using ridiculous jargon and slang, and this dictionary is here to help you get to the bottom of it. If you are utterly baffled by something someone says on b3ta, chances are an explanation can be found on these pages. Have a look around, make yourself comfortable, and be confused no longer!
Navigate using the Alphabet at the top, by clicking on each entry you get a comprehensive definition and examples of usage.
If you feel an existing definition lacks important information or clarity, you can add your own, using the handy button.
Each entry can be linked to directly, which comes in useful when being an annoying pedant on the b3ta boards.
If you feel someone has added a word or definition which is nasty, wrong or dangerously inadequate, you can flag this up to the dictionary's moderators, using the handy Report button: ![]()
This couldn't be simpler, simply use the 'add a word' link at the top of every page, or the 'add a definition' link for specific words already listed. Please don't take the piss though, this site is moderated and we will remove offensive entries, no matter how funny you think they are.
If you want to link to other sites in your definition you can do so. Simply use standard HTML: <a href="http://www.yousite.com">Link description</a>.
You can also easily link to other Dictionary entries using our suspiciously Wiki-like code.
For example, "[[panowie]]" will link directly to the entry for panowie like this: "panowie".
Your link doesn't have to reflect the word though.
For example, "Here is a link to [[brian+blessed|Brian Blessed's definition]]." will look like this: "Here is a link to Brian Blessed's definition."
Well you do the hard work, that's part of the deal.
Apart from that, mictoboy keeps the place clean and Kamikaze Stoat is chief code-monkey.
